TDT1000 Transducer Tester

We have all been in a situation where we weren't sure if a customer's complaint was related to a component fault or if it was installation related. Hanging a transducer over the side of the boat or swapping in a new MFD is an expensive proposition, and may not even present an accurate result. With Airmar's recent introduction of the innovative TDT1000 Transducer Tester - the guessing game is finally over!

What makes the TDT1000 so unique and the test results so fool-proof is its unique interaction with the test servers at Airmar. Using the internal XID (aka Transducer ID) circuit built into all 1000 watt 50/200 as well as all CHIRP transducers, the TDT1000 pulls the original factory test data for your specific transducer being tested directly from Airmar's test servers. This is the actual test result from your exact serial number that was generated and stored the day the transducer was born. If the transducer you are testing does not contain XID, simply typing in the model or part number loads the transducer's factory specifications into the TDT app.

Once the transducer is identified the TDT1000 then runs a full battery of acoustic tests through its unique SensorCheck app running on your iOS or Android device. A real-time plot of your transducer's current acoustic performance overlayed with a plot of its original day-1 performance, and a simple Pass or Fail result will appear on screen. These results can then be saved or emailed, giving you and your customer the ability to document and track transducer performance over time.

The hand-held TDT1000 comes with an internal, rechargeable lithium ion battery, an AC to USB charging cord and a bare-wire breakout test cable. Optional direct-fit test cables are available for nearly any transducer connection imaginable and store neatly inside the TDT100's included, rugged carry case.
